Our expertise

Project coordinator Prof. Alessandra Balduini at the University of Pavia (UNIPV) and partner CELLINK, market leader in the bioink and 3D bioprinting field, developed SILKink during FET Open project SilkFUSION and co-own the background IP. The consortium is completed by Catalyze Group – Venture Building Team (CAT), who will provide their commercial expertise to develop an optimal market access strategy for SILKink.

In this project, the consortium will leverage UNIPV’s deep expertise in the fields of bone marrow stem cell biology, silk-bone marrow modeling, and bone marrow diseases, the expertise of CELLINK in bioink development and 3D bioprinting as well as their position as market leader in the bioink and 3D bioprinting markets, and the expertise of CAT in market research and venture building.
