2nd Young Scientist Workshop

after the extremely successful experience of the “1st YOUNG SCIENTIST WORKSHOP” we are pleased to present the “2nd YOUNG SCIENTIST WORKSHOP: FROM BASIC SCIENCE TO CLINICAL APPLICATION” which will take place on 19th-21st June 2018 in Pavia at University of Pavia, Aula Scarpa and at Palazzo Bellisomi-Vistarino.
The aim of this edition of the workshop is to promote interaction between young, under 40 researchers from different parts of the world. Participants will have the opportunity to present their latest studies, discuss and get advice for peers. The workshop will foster international collaborations intended to develop new advancing young researcher’s careers.
During the “1st YOUNG SCIENTIST WORKSHOP”, a large number of important collaborations were established resulting in successful publications and submissions for research grants.
The workshop will last three days, and the program includes presentations by participants, discussions on the main topics covered with and lectio magistralis held by world-class scientists, which are an important contribution for the workshop, as they will present their own experiences, insights and advice on project strategy and fundraising.
Lunch and dinner will be an opportunity of to meet, socialize and network over excellent food in a relaxed atmosphere.
The participant number is limited to 40. The workshop fee, which includes registration and materials will be 100 Euro. We will cover the costs for the overnight stay at Palazzo Bellisomi-Vistarino.
